Oh, so *that's* who it was by... Nickelback... of course I've never heard of them, so knowing the name wouldn't have helped.

A colleague (who's since left work) played that for me about a month ago. He had to explain what was going on before I realised - I thought they just had some kind of complicated vocal pattern thing going on :) It is really stunning.

He just said it was some random soft metal band, I think... I didn't realise they were actually popular somewhere. Didn't that style... you know... like.... die about fifteen years back? Ah well...
