I just used the phrase "End user-induced depressant overindulgence" in a computer support ticket.

The end-user was such a pain you had to go out and get drunk afterwards?

Just trying to be clear...

The end-user had apparently imbibed an entire bottle of tequila while trying to access his e-mail.

Ah.

The next time this transpires (and it will, as long as there is alcohol and e-mail), leave out the "induced". Because the way you wrote it, it looks as though the end-user made you do something. When doctors induce labor, for example, they do it to a pregnant lady and her baby, not to themselves.

I know, it's picky. But if you're going to coin beautifully horrible phrases on purpose...
