So apparently, our travel destination has decided (Prague), and I still don't know if we're leaving today or tomorrow--it sounds like they want to get moving ASAP, so.

Hi. I ran into your livejournal page after I was looking around for Rurouni Kenshin stuff on the web. You sounded smart and interesting, and you don't live where I do, so I thought I'd see if I could add you to my friends list and be added back. I read English translations of the RK manga several years ago, and saw a few of the early episodes, but recently started working my way through the series as a whole. I love it-- It's a great addiction. I used to copy manga and other comic book characters in high school and college for friends (painting murals on walls, drawing posters, cards, random stuff0 for fun and extra cash. I've started to go back and try and fill in the holes where I drew a lot of a character but didn't have anything other than a superficial background on what I was drawing.

Anyway, I'm relatively new to livejournal (since right around my last-28th-birthday in March), and I thought it might actually be easier to start trying to add people that aren't living here since I tend to rant about people and things in my immediate surroundings. I'm also completely open to feedback, since I haven't communicated with too many people via livejournal yet.

Oh, and my general background/description-- I am 28, female, on the shorter side with brown hair and green eyes. I wear glasses sometimes. I have a law degree but don't practice law. I have a generic office job that pays the bills but isn't stimulating. And people that meet me think I'm nice, which I have a great deal of ambivalence over (in the correct use of the word ambivalent).
