Oh, no doubt GH2 is the superior game (my Facebook account has a video of me going stupid crazy on Sweet Child of Mine just a little over a year ago). It's just that for all the GH3 hate I see on Kotaku and the RB forums, people never can never seem to admit that Cliffs of Dover is awesome (the only time I've seen people admit to it was when Yahtzee posted his GH3 review and used it in the end credit sequence).
I liked a lot of the 360-exclusive GH2 songs, particularly Hush and RnRHK. Dead! is also stupid fun and bouncy. But for balls-out fun, Sweet Child of Mine and Free Bird (on Hard, I still can't beat it on Expert) are wicked sweet. That's right, wicked sweet.
I really wish they had properly released GH1 for the XBox now. I want my Take Me Out. I may even buy the GH DLC now that I know they're never going to put up anything else for GH2.
