I went to Beijing, as well as Greater Shanghai (some parts of SH itself, Hangzhou, and Xitian). I don't know if DW has its own picture hosting service, but maybe I can find space for a few shots somewhere. Of interest to you might be the show I saw on the Hangzhou West Lake which was directed by Zhang Yimou. It was gorgeous.
I also visited Sweden via Denmark for like a day for another friend's wedding, and it also occurs to me right now that another close friend/family friend gave birth this year, but it had slipped my mind because she's in the US and I was posting from work.
And also the ex-wife of a family friend passed from ALS. We hadn't been close to her in some time, but we still see their children from time to time, so.
