They both have fairly similar chord structure, as well. I simply figured that as singles, they'd be a bit more diverse than what has so far been presented. You know, to show a bit more talent.
I'm not saying I damn all things Billboard, because I don't. I'm a big Beyonce fan, and I dunno if Dandy Warhols are popular in the States, but they sure as well were here. It's just that both artists I just mentioned released songs that couldn't POSSIBLY be confused for one another. Whereas the two people I mentioned above have with the Nickelback songs, and one of them claims to be a fan. (Although to be fair, both songs were playing at the same time for the one who says he's a fan. I just thought that was funny, for some reason.)
