anime music:
Pretty self-explanatory. While the original Queen of Anime Soundtracks was Yoko Kanno, she faces fierce competition from Taku Iwasaki, the man (I'm fairly sure Taku's a man, at least) behind the music for the Rurouni Kenshin OAVs, the ROD series, and Yakitate!! Japan. I also figure computer game soundtracks (e.g. Chrono Cross, FF Symphonic albums) also have a place here.
black heaven:
The most overrated-underrated anime series of all time. Crappy animation, horrible puns, plot holes up the wazoo, "Cautionary Warning" being repeated over and over and over again, and yet it somehow manages to be one of my top five anime series EVAR, with a capital EVAR.

Also fairly self-explanatory. While I enjoy music in all forms, I prefer purchasing CDs over downloading MP3s, thus allowing me control over the quality.

fanfic:
While I don't delve into things like the Pit of Voles, I enjoy writing fanfic (see: The Man With Two Hands, BSRK, pretty much any Impro) as well as occasionally reading fanfic (normally the stuff that gets spotted on my flist--meaning kphoebe, lurkerdrome, miggy, and trollprincess). Only within the past couple of years have I opened my reading to non-anime fanfic.

I don't write or read much anymore, but I should.

While I enjoy the concept of round-robin writing, at this point this interest would be listed more for the community than the site.
music:
If you've ever observed me while I'm unaware of your presence, you'll notice I usually have my headphones on. Also, you'll notice that I really get physically enthusiastic with my music. Occasionally I draw attention.

Listening, the occasional writing (though no new melodies have drummed themselves into my head recently), and the dissection of the music I listen to daily. I think this is probably the definitive interest on my list, likely just barely edging out "computers."
rurouni kenshin:
Another one you probably don't have to ask about. I know for a fact that some of the people here initially friended me because they knew I ran RKMT. Having been enthusiastic enough to put out edits for four or five chapters a day at peak rate, owning the complete manga run in French as well as a good number of volumes in Japanese and select ones in English, and owning the first eighteen volumes of the US-release anime (as well as the OAVs) lands this square in my interests box.

I really, really need to work on the Radio Play. I loved doing that. And I love the original writing.
