loopychewOh noes! Jack Thompson is being threatened by flower delivery! What an insult and terriblow to his dignity they are !!
We need to get gamer people into the media, stat, so that someone will be able to better paint a picture of who Jack Thompson really is.
Someone DID make a point which I think was both insightful and kinda not-quite-the-point at the same time: "If it was just a covert underground effort, and Jacko suddenly ended up with these flowers and the letter as a surprise, it would have been much more effective. Instead, he was expecting them."
Which is probably true, but at the same time, it was meant to be something to which the gamer community would contribute. I guess it was kind of a double-edged sword.
Possible "Extended Weekends can be Oscar" post coming later, since this weekend (Fri-Mon) was spent watching Brokeback Mountain, Munich, and Good Night, and Good Luck in theaters.

I assume that is what you mean, because if you meant to say that you weren't in any way mentally retarded, you would've outright said it.
But if you what you said is really what you meant, then let me be the first to say thank you for clearing that up. Many of us were really starting to question the state of you mentality, but I guess that issue has finally been settled. Perhaps we should send you another set of flowers as thanks?
