Film critics seem to love The Departed, Scorsese's adaptation of the awesomely kickass Infernal Affairs.

While you guys have it as of today, we don't get it until the end of November. The week after Casino Royale, in fact.

Wait, it's out *now*?

I don't know if I want to see it or not. Just because Infernal Affairs kicked SO. MUCH. ASS. Ahguhhhhh *-*

And, of course, me being normal healthy that-way-leaning person, it wouldn't be fair of me not to admit, the relative eye candy factor between the two movies doesn't quite match up. <.< Not a prevailing reason, but it's paddling around in the mix. *cough*

Oh, duh. I forgot LChu was in Switzerland. ^_^; That must be what his unfinished "While you guys have it as of today," meant. Oops.

Yeah, I just discovered a missing quote in my HTML. Should be fixed now.

having just watched infernal affairs for the first time recently, i'm not overeager to rewatch it - not that it wasn't good, and not that i doubt the bajillion critics claiming the departed is also good... but it's a little too fresh in my memory and i'd be constantly be making mental comparisons to the original. anyhoo, crime dramas enjoyable but not my preferred genre.

so you'll probably see the departed before one person at least :)
