1. What was the first record you owned? I never bought any records as in vinyl, but my first album purchase was--I think--Spin Doctors, Pocket Full of Kryptonite, on tape.

2. Is there a song that reminds you most of your childhood?
Walk Like an Egyptian, by The Bangles. If there's any song out there that kicks me back, that's it.

3. If you could spend a night with five musical artists (three for their minds and two for their bodies) who would they be?
Minds: Zack de la Roche would be an interesting guy to talk to, as would the late Joe Strummer. I need to know what the hell Jimmy Pop is smoking, so he'd be a definite check in my book.
Bodies: Shirley Manson, Gwen Stefani. Shirley's a natural redhead, and there's something about Gwen I can't put my finger on (metaphorically) that I like about her.

4. If your life was a movie, what would play over the following:

Opening credits: "What Time is It," Spin Doctors
Love scene: Depends on the girl now, doesn't it?
Driving scene: "Devil's Night Out," Bosstones (Don't ask why. Really.)
Closing credits: I really don't know at this point. Probably "Everlong" by the Foo Fighters.

5. If applicable, name a song or concert that moved you to tears:
Song: "Lightning Crashes," Live
Concert: Tears haven't happened yet.

6. Name one musical artist you'd like to see banished.
One? Are you kidding me? Ah, well...I think I'd banish Avril Lavigne--her punk image clashes with the singles she's released. At least she appears to write her own songs, but still, something about her and her music seroiusly grates.

7. Name a song you would rather never hear again.
The Ketchup Song. I don't know who the hell made it, but I twitch every time I hear it.

8. Name an album that is perfect all the way through.
Bosstones - "A Jackknife to a Swan"

9. Music you like that can be considered a guilty pleasure.
I play DDR.

10. If your music collection were about to go up in flames, which 5 CDs would you save?
I'd save my MP3 jukebox, which contains most everything I listen to. But...Garbage, "Garbage;" Foo Fighters, "The Colour and the Shape;" The Toasters, "Dub 56;" Ju Ju Space Jazz, "Intersound;" Moby, "Play." My younger brother also owns a lot of CDs I would save.

11. Is there a song that describes you or a situation you've been in so well that you could have written it?
Bosstones, "7 Ways to Sunday" is probably the most descriptive of me right now.

12. Best music-related movie?
Soundtrack - Grosse Pointe Blank
Plot device - Moulin Rouge
Score - Crimson Tide

13. What is your favorite all-time video?
I actually don't follow the video scene all that much, but Fatboy Slim's Weapon of Choice video is a classic.

14. Current favorite radio hit?
I have one? I wouldn't know; I stopped listening to the radio for the most part, except for "A Prairie Home Companion." Gotta love the NPR.

15. Do you sing or play any music instruments?
I don't sing anymore. My computer is the current preferred music instrument of choice, though I also play guitar and bass on a casual level, and used to play piano and violin at competition-level.

The dancing Christopher Walken scares me. He's hot and all.. but when he danced around that hotel or whatever it was, I wanted to cry.

...is by a group called Las Ketchup, sadly enough. You don't want to know how many people come into the store looking for it. I've never heard it myself, thankfully.

I have been saying for years that Ketchup is EVIL. We now have proof.
